23 Sep A Win in Court…For Now
Thanks to the support of many Warren citizens, the Save Wagner Farm efforts resulted in a court win on September 19, 2025!
The Somerset County Court remanded the case back to the Planning Board. This means additional delays and costs for the developers of this ill-conceived project. While earlier court cases were “won” by the township and developer, they caused delays to mount along with project costs.
Now the project must return to the Planning Board, then the court. At the earliest, the court’s consideration will be early 2026…more than 4 years after Planning Board approval. Warren residents and supporters are now being asked to donate to support legal challenges when this project returns to court.
The attorney representing George and Debbie Vetter, who have sponsored these legal challenges, believes that the upcoming court challenges will be successful, if not in Somerset county court, then on appeal. All of which will, of course, take time and result in further project delays. But these efforts requires resources: please help and donate now.
Warren residents should make it clear to their elected officials that this project, which threatens over 10 acres of beautiful open space, should never have happened and should be withdrawn.
